Omaha Hi LoOmaha Hi Lo poker has been gaining popularity recently because of the simple game rules and the exciting, fast pace of the game. Like the popular poker game of Texas Hold'em, Omaha Hi Lo uses a community card structure. Community cards are cards placed in the middle of the poker table that players must use as part of their hands. This style of poker game can have anywhere from 2 to 10 players and each of the players also receives individual cards, in addition to the community ones, as well. There are five community cards in a round of Omaha Hi Lo poker. Each player will receive four individual cards and choose the two they want to keep from their own hand and the three they want to use from the community cards to form a final five card hand. Knowing the rules of Texas Hold'em poker is important before you begin playing Omaha Hi Lo. The Omaha game was based upon Texas Hold'em so knowing the original rules will help a lot when you begin learning poker strategy. Omaha Hi Lo is just one of the variations of poker games to come from Texas Hold'em. We recommend playing omaha hi on pacific poker and empire poker: offering the most enjoyable software on net. |
